General Manager – Résidence La Réserve ****

Born in Cambrai, Frédéric had in mind the idea of continuing his studies while working. He then turned to a BEP/CAP degree in restaurant management and worked as a receptionist in an Ibis hotel, in his hometown.

At the age of 18, after obtaining his diploma, the Ibis hotel offered him a position as Assistant Manager, which he held for 3 years.

Marked by memories of summer camps, Frédéric only dreamed of the mountains… He left for Sallanches, in Haute-Savoie, in an Ibis hotel located at the foot of Mont-Blanc, where he worked as a Deputy Manager.

At 23, Frédéric wanted to conquer Switzerland! He was hired in a 4-star establishment with 300 rooms, where he discovered different facets of the hotel business: restaurant cashier, receptionist, head of reception, training manager… As an intermittent duty manager, he learned about management.

Five years later, he was offered a position as a housekeeper in a medical establishment in Geneva and found himself at the head of a team of 40 people for a year and a half.

At the age of 30, Frédéric was offered a position as director of a three-star hotel in Gaillard, Haute-Savoie, and then became manager of two residences in Paris, Opéra Bastille and Opéra Garnier, belonging to the same group.

Eager to leave the hustle and bustle of Paris, he accepted a new challenge in Brussels in 2001: a residence of 170 apartments to renovate.

But the call of the mountains was too strong and he decided to return to Haute-Savoie in 2002.

By chance, an establishment in Ferney-Voltaire was looking for a new director, which allowed Frédéric to return to the shores of Lake Geneva, in Evian.

In 2006, the new owner of the residence La Résidence **** , in Ferney-Voltaire, asked Frédéric for a position as director to bring the establishment up to standard.

Mission accomplished! 13 years after his arrival, he continues to take up challenges with enthusiasm when the establishment is taken over by the Nehô group in 2019.

Today, Frédéric is a fulfilled manager. His motivation is fueled by exchanges with customers, new encounters and his team, with whom he practices close management.

When he’s not working, he’s tinkering, renovating his house, gardening, playing sports with his family, and hiking in the mountains.
