Classified as a historical monument and labeled “House of Illustrious”, the castle of Ferney dazzles its visitors by the austerity of its architecture and the richness of its collections, making it an emblematic bourgeois residence. Rebuilt by Voltaire between 1758 and 1766, it is now distinguished from regional monuments by its modest decoration enriched by innovative tools.

  • From April 1 to September 30: Monday to Sunday (7d / 7) 10am – 6pm
  • From October 1st to March 31st: from monday to sunday (7d / 7) 10am – 5pm
  • Closed on the 1st of January, 1st of May, 1st and 11th of November, 25th of December

  • Full price: 8 €
  • Reduced price: 6.5 € Free for children under 18, under 26 nationals of the 27 EU Member States, people with disabilities and their accompanying persons and jobseekers.
